I am happy to say that Holy Family School has shaped me into the person I am today. HFS made me a better person and helped me grow physically, mentally, and spiritually through my 9 years of attending. I believe HFS had such an impact on me because of the great teachers and administrators supporting and helping each student. I am forever appreciative for the friendships I have made, lessons I have learned, and teachings I will take with me through the rest of my life. Most importantly, Holy Family School helped me build the relationship with God that I have now and for that I am forever grateful.”
~ Gia S. Class of 2018

The National Merit® Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) — a test which serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.5 million entrants each year— and by meeting published program entry and participation requirements.
In 2020, HFS graduates Thomas R. and Liam W. were among two of the nation’s 16,000 out of 50,000 high scorers to be named semifinalists.

The foundation offers these scholarships to only 37 eighth grade students from across all of the Catholic Elementary Schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
